�r�faj�kull

Ice-covered volcanic massif, southeastern Iceland. It lies at the southern end of the giant ice field of Vatnaj�kull (q.v.). Its highest peak, Mount Hvannadals, reaches an elevation of 6,952 feet (2,119 m) above sea level and is also the highest peak in Iceland.
